On Saturday, May 11, 2024 we will be hosting our Joey Gunz Memorial Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament at Merced MMA. This tournament will benefit the family of our student & instructor, Joey Gonzalez. This tournament is open to students of Merced, Oakdale and Sonora MMA.

Merced MMA
Merced Mixed Martial Arts Academy opened in July 2007 and is currently located at 745 W. Main St., in Merced. We offer classes for Adults (age 13 & up), Children (ages 4-12), and Women in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Submission Wrestling, Women’s Conditioning, and Self Defense. We also have regular sessions of our Women’s Conditioning Bootcamp.
We are partnered with Oakdale MMA and Sonora MMA and are under Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Grand Master Flavio Behring.

At Merced MMA, we are under 9th degree Red Belt, Grandmaster Flavio Behring. We have classes for children beginning at the age of four through twelve.

At Merced MMA, we are under 9th degree Red Belt, Grandmaster Flavio Behring. Our Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes are for those ages 13 & up. As with all of our classes, we welcome beginners to learn this incredible art.
